PARSIPPANY, NJ—Mack-Cali Realty Corp.'s 5 WoodHollow Road office building here has just received LEED Goldcertification from the US Green Building Council – becoming the13th commercial property in the state to get the awardfor operations and maintenance of an existing building.

The LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenancerating system recognizes “maximized operational efficiency withminimized environmental impact,” according to the USGBC. Itaddresses cleaning and maintenance issues, including chemical use,recycling programs, exterior maintenance programs and systemupgrades.
