PHOENIX—Camden Property Trust's San Marcoscommunity, a 320 unit multihousing community in Scottsdale, hasbeen named Renovated Community of the Year by the ArizonaMultihousing Association.

In 2013, Camden San Marcos completed their capital projectsincluding: a 24-hour fitness room with towel service, a 24-hourpool with towel service during business hours, electronic packagenotification, car wash area with industrial vacuum and an internetcafé with wi-fi. Their one-, two- and three-bedroomunits also now include granite counter tops, simulated woodflooring, stainless kitchen appliances with ice makers, tracklighting, crown molding and two-toned paint, brushed nickelfixtures and more.

San Marcos' innovation, property age, interior and exteriorupdates, construction size and scope, landscaping, maintenance andimpact on the community were all taken in to consideration by theAMA's when judging for the renovation category.
