WASHINGTON, DC—The District has released request for expressionsof interest for the redevelopment of air rights over a parkingstructure at Second and H streets NW and twoadjoining parcels.

The solicitation released on Friday by the Office of theDeputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development hascalled for responses to be submitted by Aug. 28.

The site in the Mount Vernon Triangle totals approximately83,000 square feet of air rights above an existing parking deckthat sits over I-395, a 3,750-square-foot adjacent lot and a9,700-square-foot triangular lot (currently in use as a parkinglot) bounded by Second, H and New Jersey Avenue NW, according tothe Washington Business Journal.
