AVILA BEACH, CA—Port San Luis Harbor District and the State ofCalifornia Coastal Conservancy have formed a “First of its Kind”Partnership to redevelop Harbor Terrace, a 32-acre Coastal Bluff RVResort and Campground here. The Port San Luis Harbor District isseeking qualified developers to revitalize the high-profileoceanfront property.

Located in Avila Beach, CA, the Harbor Terrace property offerspanoramic views of San Luis Obispo Bay and California's picturesquecoastline. Mild temperatures, sunny beaches, trails and anabundance of recreational activities bring hundreds of thousands ofannual visitors to the region, which has been regularly recognizedas a top-10 destination by travel writers.

The proposed development may include up to 126 RV and cabinsites, 56 campsites, and 16,000 square feet of hospitality andretail uses. The selected developer will leave a positive, lastinglegacy on California's Central Coast by contributing to preservingnature and strengthening the local economy, says the District.
