FORT LAUDERDALE, FL—Terra Group just snapped up121 acres of an unused golf course next to a Broward County golfcountry club in Weston, FL. The acquisition marks the firm's firstproject in Weston and its second in Broward County. The first wasTerra Ranches in Southwest Ranches, FL.

“Weston is a vibrant, evolving city boasting some of the bestschools and parks in South Florida,” says DavidMartin, president and co-founder of Terra. “As thecommunity continues to evolve and housing expectations are raised,there is an inherent need for new residential development which thearea has not seen in well over a decade.”

Terra is best known for projects like Glass in Miami Beach,Grove at Grand Bay and Park Grove in Coconut Grove, and ModernDoral and Atlantic 15 in Sunny Isles Beach. The firm will redevelopthe site to house 125 luxury single-family homes in half-acre toacre lot sizes, ranging in size from 3,800 to 6,800 squarefeet.
