WASHINGTON, DC—A little more than a month after it cancelled abid solicitation for massive infrastructure work at the St.Elizabeths campus, the District ofColumbia has issued new bids for the project.

The request for proposals for infrastructure work at the170-acre property calls for the winning contractor to overseedemolition and the installation of new utilities, roads,stormwater, sewer, gas, electrical and telecom systems, securityfencing, landscaping and intelligent transportation systems,according to the Washington Business Journal.

The infrastructure component of the St. Elizabeths campus isexpected to cost more than $50 million. The solicitation timelinecalls for work to be completed 990 calendar days following a noticeto proceed is issued.
