EL SEGUNDO, CA—An affiliate of BlackRock hascompleted renovations of PCT, a1.6-million-square-foot creative office campus inEl Segundo, CA, after a nearly year-long renovation. Formerly knownas the Pacific Corporate Towers, the newlyunveiled LEED Gold-certified property has 80tenants.

San Francisco-based Studios Architecture ledthe contemporary redesign of the property, incorporating severalindoor and outdoor gathering spaces that are in high demand amongtoday's office tenants. The property now has large “breakout” roomswith lounge seating and high-top tables for computers, aground-floor lounge and large conference rooms. To meet thetechnology standards of many office tenants, the property alsooffers wifi throughout the complex as well as audio and visualcapabilities in all of the conference rooms. Onsite amenities havealso been incorporated into the property for tenant use, like afull-service gym, day-use bikes and ping-pong tables, plus an eventschedule for the community that will offer food truck days, yogaclasses and spa treatments.

CBRE handles the property management andleasing efforts. In recent months, the leasing team signed severalnew tenants, including the National PlanningCorp., which leased 36,000 square feet of space. The newleases brought the building's tenant roster to 80, a diverse mixthat includes Chevron, Oracle,Cetera, Mullin TBG andNexon. Additionally, CBRE augmented its managementstaff in response to requests from tenants, adding a director ofcommunity experience, who will be responsible for creating theevent schedule. CBRE did not respond to a request for commentbefore the publication of this story.
