LONDON—Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. says thatits contract to provide project services to EDFEnergy for its eight nuclear power station sites in theUnited Kingdom has been extended.

Company officials did not disclose the contract value, but notedthat the contract is extended by 12 months with anoption for a further 12 months.

Pasadena, CA-based Jacobs isproviding a range of project services to support EDF Energy'sprogram of maintenance and life extension projects at the stations.EDF Energy's eight stations have a combined capacity of almost 8.8million kilowatts, making it the UK's largest generator of lowcarbon electricity.
