HONOLULU—The Howard Hughes Corporation hasreached another milestone in the transformation of WardVillage. The company has received approval from theHawai'i Community Development Authority forWard Village Gateway, the first residential andcommercial development in Phase Two of the Ward VillageMaster Plan, a 60-acre master planned community located inthe Kaka'ako district of Honolulu. Ward Village Gateway willinclude a public park and two mixed-use towers with approximately236 total residences and 20,000 square feet ofretail.

Ward Village is located in Honolulu between the city'sdowntown and Waikiki. The coastalcommunity is being meticulously curated into a vibrant neighborhoodwith plans for over 4,000 exceptional high-rise residences and morethan one million square feet of retail and commercial spacesurrounded by outdoor public gathering places andpedestrian-friendly streets. The neighborhood will be anchored bythe Village Green, a public park that will also serve as amulti-purpose gathering space in Honolulu where residents andvisitors will convene, socialize and enjoy an array of communityevents.
