TAMPA, FL—WellCare Health Plans, Inc. hascompleted a lease deal with building owner TerraCapManagement, LLC for one of its Class B office buildings atthe Tampa International Business Center here.

The health care provider will occupy an entire76,120-square-foot Class B building at the center located at 5301Idlewild Ave., according to CBRE, which announcedthe lease deal. Phillip Weber, vice president withCBRE Brokerage and Office Services, and colleague HansKaunath with CBRE in Tampa represented the owner in themarketing and leasing of the complex. DavidJohnson and Elizabeth Osborne withDTZ in Denver, CO, represented the tenant in thetransaction.

“This building afforded WellCare immediate occupancy andconvenient location that worked perfectly for the healthcarecompany's immediate needs and future growth,” says CBRE's Weber.“This office complex serves as a great value to tenants and is anexcellent economic alternative to the higher-priced Westshoresubmarket.”
