CHICAGO—Mid-America Real Estate Corp. recentlypromoted Joe Girardi and MikePhillips to principals and Brian Adamsand Willie Hoag to senior vice presidents. Girardiis belongs to the Oakbrook Terrace, IL-based firm's shopping centerinvestment sales team and the latter three all belong its tenantrepresentation team.

Girardi focuses specifically on the disposition of retailproperties. He generates, underwrites and executes investment saleassignments and has been with Mid-America since 2003. Girardi hasbeen directly involved in the completion of over $2 billion ofretail investment transactions. Phillips, the other new principal,represents national retailers throughout the Midwest. In addition,throughout his career Phillips has helped handle numerousdevelopment and redevelopment projects. He has been withMid-America since 1998.

Adams represents both retail landlords and tenants throughoutthe Chicagoland area and Illinois. He focuses on restaurant tenantrepresentation, and has been with Mid-America since 2005. Agraduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, heis also a co-chair of the restaurant council for the ChainLinks Organization.
