SAN JOSE, CA—Federal Realty Investment Trusthas started construction on 500 Santana Row, a232,000 square-foot LEED-Gold office building that will be part ofthe mixed-use community.

Groundbreaking ceremonies for the latest project were scheduledto take place today with San Jose mayor Chuck Reedand other officials expected to attend.
