SEATTLE—Urban RenaissanceGroup of Seattle has acquiredthe operating company for Seattle-baseddeveloper Touchstone. Thedeal also involves an investmentby Urban Renaissance Group in six currentTouchstone projects.

The transaction also includes the acquisition ofTouchstone by URG and retention of all current Touchstoneemployees. The companies say it will allow Touchstoneowners DouglasHowe, JimO'Hanlon and ShawnParry tostep back from day-to-day operation of the firm.

While the owners have sold the Touchstone operatingcompany, they will continue to serve as advisors to it and remaininvested as General Partners with URG in all current projects,seeing them through to completion.
