PHILADELPHIA, PA—RR Donnelley sold its370,000-square-foot single-story industrial building on 56.6 acresat 4411 Old Berwick Road in Bloomsburg, PA toSekisui Polymer Innovations, LLC, which has anexisting facility near the site and plans to bring an additional200 new jobs to the area over the next five years.Binswanger and Berwick IndustrialDevelopment Association, Inc. (BIDA) helped broker the transaction.

Key features of the property include 6-inch reinforced concretefloor; concrete block over heavy structural steel frame andinsulated metal panel walls; Firestone single-ply membrane roof;columns spaced 30 feet x 40 feet and 45 feet x 45 feet; ceilingheights to 26 feet; T-8 fluorescent lighting; wet sprinkler system;approximately 10,500 square feet of office space; 16 dock doorswith levelers and seals; two drive-in doors and parking for 480vehicles.

The transaction was handled by Michael Treacy,senior vice president in Binswanger'sPhiladelphia, PA office. Rich Plonsker,executive vice president in Binswanger's Chicago,IL office serves as account manager for RRDonnelley and is responsible for the accountworldwide. The Binswanger team workedclosely with BIDA's staff to close the deal. Both Binswanger and BIDA wereassisted in their marketing efforts by the continued aid andcooperation received from numerous other sources including theBoard of Columbia County Commissioners, theGovernor's Action Team, the CentralPennsylvania Career Link, the SEDA-COG Joint RailAuthority, the North Shore Railroad andPPL. This project exemplifies the importanceof several entities working together to achieve a commongoal.
