SAN MATEO, CA—In an update to a previous story on Essex PropertyTrust's purchase of Station Park Green inSan Mateo, CA, GlobeSt.com chatted with John Eudyon the plans for the site and its potential to be a transformativepiece of the puzzle along with the other projects in thesurrounding area.

Eudy tells GlobeSt.com that the entitlements are done, theapprovals are complete and the city of San Mateo is workingdiligently to meet all deadlines to keep the project movingsmoothly.

Essex is hoping to expedite the permitting process includingthose for demolitions and site development, which could take up to90 days for all permits, if the process goes as planned. Allstructures are vacant and ready to be taken down once the permitsare finalized. Eudy says a late summer timeframe is being targetedfor construction to begin.
