PARIS—Cushman & Wakefield has beenappointed by the owners of one of Paris' most notable retailproperties—51 Boulevard Haussmann—to find a newretail tenant for the space. The 30,000 sq ft property, jointlyowned by U.S.-based Thor Equities and AresManagement, is set within the center of the Frenchcapital's ninth arrondissement—one of the busiest shoppingdistricts in the city. It is currently occupied by Italian-basedglobal fashion giant Benneton.

Built in 1866 and significantly renovated in the early 2000s,the building is currently the Paris flagship of Benetton. Controlling an entire block with a significant frontage alongBoulevard Haussmann, the address is also anchored by RueAuber and Rue de Caumartin.

“This is a unique opportunity to lease one of the most desirableretail spaces in the world,” said Cushman &Wakefield retail partner Peter Mace.“With 42 million shoppers visiting Boulevard Haussmann each yearand an appealing array of quality retailers nearby, we expect tosee a lot of interest from major international brands.”
