That was one of the many questions weasked Adam Mullen, head of supply chain servicesat CBRE as we dive further into our15th anniversary coverage. “eCommerce has driven themost disruptive movement of our time, changing the supply chainlandscape forever—led by new consumer behaviors,” he says.

According to Mullen, supply chain strategieshave always includeda focus on effectiveness and efficiency—but now, speed is the mostimportant consideration for many companies. Consumers, he says, arevery savvy, and know how to seek out the lowest cost, the fastestshipping methods and expect visibility into order status.
