AUSTIN--Wellington Realty has successfullycompleted a leasing transaction for Black Shark FamilyInvestments, a family office.
Black Shark Family Investments has leased 9,670 square feet ofoffice space in Thanksgiving Tower, a 50-storyskyscraper located in Downtown Dallas. Jack Allenwith Wellington Realty represented the tenant. Brokers MikeDement and Sam Meginnis represented thelandlord, Altschuler & Co.
Thanksgiving Tower is in the midst of a $30-million renovationto its lobbies and common areas. Black Shark Family Investmentsselected the landmark building for its outstanding walkabilitywithin the vibrant Main Street District, putting them in closeproximity to residential developments, amenities such asrestaurants, retail, hotels, public transportation, and quickaccess to downtown's pedestrian tunnel system.
