WASHINGTON, DC—The District of Columbia BuildingIndustry Association has announced its 2016 Board ofDirectors. Lynn Hackney, managing partner of thedevelopment firm and capital provider AllysonCapital, will be the association's president for the year.She also is the association's first female president.

Hackney is a 25-year industry veteran as well as a 2015 winnerof Smart CEO's Brava Awards.

DCBIA's slate of officers for 2016 also includes BradFennell of WC Smith as Vice President; BillMcIntosh of Balfour Beatty as Vice President;Deborah Ratner Salzberg of Forest City as VicePresident; Michele V. Hagans of Fort Lincoln NewTown Corp., as Secretary; and Dwayne Holt of BakerTilly as Treasurer.
