GRAPEVINE—Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) is comingto Grapevine.
The proposed project will involve two facilities: a regionalParts Distribution Center (PDC) designed to support the sales anddistribution of spare parts to the customers and dealer network ofMBUSA along with a Learning & Performance Center (LPC). The LPCis relocating from Houston to the Grapevine site and plans to be ahigh-end technical facility to accommodate ongoing training ofMercedes-Benz dealership technicians from around the Southwestregion.
"The MBUSA project is a great win for the city's economicdevelopment effort," Bruno Rumbelow, City ofGrapevine city manager, told GlobeSt.com. "Having a world-classcompany make this investment--that means many newjobs/visitors--was a critical element in our desire to get thisdeal done."
