Melanie Reyes has ascended from lender services to Vice President of Capital Markets at CommLoan, where she recently supported the funding of more than $130 million in loan volume. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, Reyes personally closed $11.85 million in 2025 while managing complex, multi-borrower transactions, including a $4 million retail center financing in Texas.

That particular deal required coordinating numerous holding companies and operating agreements; when it was nearly denied due to a credit issue, Reyes collaborated with the lender to craft a creative solution that preserved approval. She serves as a vital bridge between fintech data and the human element of trust, ensuring all parties have accurate, complete information.

Reyes is responsible for assembling clear, well-organized loan marketing packages that help lenders quickly assess feasibility and pricing in a shifting market. Her ability to stay solutions-oriented in a field where women remain underrepresented has made her a go-to resource for both colleagues and partners.

Beyond the office, Reyes is deeply committed to community service, volunteering on the worship team at her local church and participating in mentorship programs. She also volunteers for Night to Shine, an annual prom experience for individuals with special needs—reflecting her belief that inclusion and service are central to professional and personal success.
