Nicole Rice is an Associate Principal at Langan, where she has transformed the regional environmental practice by growing the Pittsburgh team from two to 15 professionals. Over her 20-year career, Rice has led a national due diligence program that evaluated more than 3,000 sites across the U.S.

She is a technical expert in brownfield redevelopment and site remediation, particularly for industrial, e-commerce, and data center projects. Rice also leads Langan’s internal PFAS Analysis and Consulting Team, advising clients on emerging risk considerations and regulatory developments.

Recently promoted to Associate Principal, she has seen her team’s revenue nearly double since early 2024 while leading redevelopment projects totaling $100+ million. Her industry influence is significant; she served as President of the CREW Pittsburgh Chapter in 2025 and is a corporate board member for Women@Langan.

Rice is also committed to community service, having co-led a summit that raised over $3,000 for a nonprofit supporting women and children facing housing insecurity. Her leadership is characterized by an unwavering commitment to ethical standards and the mentorship of rising female professionals.
