Heather Wellington is the Founder and Principal of Cubed Development & Consulting, an entrepreneurial venture she committed to full-time at the end of 2024. With over 20 years of experience, Wellington has managed mixed-use and specialized facilities totaling more than 3.1 million sq. ft. and valued at over $900 million.

In her firm's first year, she secured major contracts for large-scale redevelopment projects and served as a strategic advisor on public-private initiatives. Wellington also holds a prominent civic role as Chair of the Board of Directors of the DC Housing Finance Agency (DCHFA), where she oversees efforts to expand affordable housing.

Her career includes significant leadership within AAREP DC and the Real Estate Executive Council, where she advocates for increased minority participation in the industry. Additionally, she serves on the Advisory Board for the University of Maryland’s real estate development institute.
