Jamie Altman Buggy is a Partner and the General Counsel of Harvest LLP, where she established and currently heads the firm’s litigation department. Since helping launch the firm in 2022, Altman Buggy has expanded her team from two to six legal professionals to meet rising client demand for her entrepreneurial and practical approach. In the past year, she successfully collected tens of millions of dollars for publicly traded REITs and recovered similar sums for landlord-creditors in multinational bankruptcies. Altman Buggy is a specialist in commercial landlord-tenant disputes, currently representing a large development firm in a "bet the company" litigation that could set new industry precedents for landlord obligations. Her effective litigation style has earned her a spot in The Best Lawyers in America 2026 for real estate litigation. Beyond the courtroom, Altman Buggy serves her community through board tenures for organizations like Home Start and the Veterans Research Alliance. As a mother of three married to a combat veteran, she is a passionate advocate for building a firm culture that supports sustainable work-life balance for women. She is also recognized by the San Diego Business Journal as one of the "Leaders of Influence in Commercial Real Estate" for 2025.
