Additionally, she advised Walmart on the donation of a major training academy facility to the Chicago Urban League, facilitating community workforce development. George chairs Akerman Strong, the firm’s wellness initiative focused on mental health and resiliency. Her commitment to the city is further evidenced by her work on the Chicago Sustainability Task Force, where she helped draft the city's sustainability matrix.
