Jane Hinton leads the California real estate team at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, bringing a global banking perspective to sophisticated U.S. debt and equity transactions. Recently, Hinton led a $185 million multi-layered financing for the ground-up development of 425 affordable housing micro-units in San Francisco and advised on a $125 million mixed-use project in Long Beach.

She also represented an investment company in the discounted $48 million acquisition of a non-performing loan portfolio secured by senior living facilities. Hinton was appointed the Los Angeles Hiring Partner in 2024 and has been instrumental in the firm’s Summer Associate program.

Her pro bono work is equally impactful; she assisted the Vietnam Dustoff Association in lobbying for a Congressional Gold Medal for Army crews. She also supports Bet Tzedek and the Boys and Girls Club of Burbank.

Hinton has served on the Planning Committee for the USC Gould School of Law Real Estate Law and Business Forum since 2018, shaping real-world strategies for major industry challenges. She is a perennial "Leader in Real Estate" as recognized by Chambers USA.
