Vered Rabia is a partner at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP who has been recognized for her work on landmark projects like the $3 billion Moynihan Train Hall redevelopment. Rabia recently represented AIR Communities in its $10 billion acquisition by Blackstone—named Global Deal of the Year for 2024 by PERE. She also advised the Battery Park City Authority on a $1.5 billion ground lease extension for Brookfield Place, which will generate significant funds for affordable housing. Rabia’s expertise in cross-border matters was highlighted when she guided GO Residential Real Estate Investment Trust through the largest Canadian REIT IPO in history. She has a versatile practice spanning lodging, restaurant development, and distressed asset workouts for global clients like the Qatar Investment Authority and Andre Balazs. Beyond her practice, she serves as President of the Board of Trustees for the New York Restoration Project and Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Innocence Project. She is also VP of the board for DREAM, which supports thousands of children in East Harlem and the Bronx. Rabia is regarded as "incredibly creative" in approaching difficult development issues.
