Ellen Sinreich is the Founder and Principal of The Sinreich Group and the creator of the proprietary Black Box Framework, a best-in-class methodology for managing leasing complexity. In October 2025, Sinreich became the Chair of the ICSC Legal Advisory Council, where she leads a 16-member team addressing critical national issues like ESG compliance, AI integration, and environmental liability.

She recently negotiated a complex 20-year headquarters lease for a global financial services firm and protected a nonprofit client from mid-lease displacement during a residential conversion. Sinreich also chairs Pipeline NYC Metro, a national organization for women in retail real estate where she mentors members in investment strategies.

Her leadership history includes serving as the New York-New Jersey State Chair for ICSC and chairing the ULI National Retail Product Council. For over a decade, she has served as a mentor for ULI, guiding emerging professionals in leasing strategy and leadership development.
