Barbara Trachtenberg, a shareholder at Polsinelli, is a senior advisor for complex data center and institutional real estate transactions nationwide. Trachtenberg recently represented an alternative investment firm in a platform joint venture for data center investments, including a $220 million acquisition and financing of a facility in Georgia.

She also guided a joint venture in a Missouri data center redevelopment with total project costs exceeding $300 million. Her practice spans the full capital stack, including a recent $100 million multifamily development that required negotiating a $60 million construction loan and land acquisition with complex easements.

Trachtenberg is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and a past President of CREW Boston. She frequently guest-teaches at the MIT Center for Real Estate on joint ventures and financing workouts, and was invited back to present at the 2026 ICSC Law conference.
