Lauren Cahill, Senior Vice President of Development at Grubb Properties, manages some of the firm’s largest and most intricate transactions in the highly competitive New York City market. Her expertise in capital structuring and stakeholder management is evident in the execution of Link Apartments QPN, a 417-unit multi-family building in Long Island City.

This project was a milestone for the city, marking the first development completed under the MTA’s Zoning for Accessibility program. Cahill also oversees Link Apartments 8 Carlisle, a 65-story development in Manhattan’s Financial District that is on track to receive approximately $490 million in tax savings over 38 years.

Cahill’s leadership extends across multiple geographies, including California and Washington, D.C., where she mentors a team of developers while maintaining rigorous financial discipline. By leveraging zoning incentives such as Quality Housing and Zone Green, she has successfully increased building density and secured substantial financial credits for her firm.

Her commitment to the industry is further demonstrated through her role as President of WX New York Women Executives in Real Estate. Cahill’s ability to navigate high-stakes negotiations and deliver high-quality apartments during New York’s worst housing crunch in 50 years marks her as a standout leader in urban development.
