Maria Fermin serves indual leadership roles as the Director of Development for Oasis Hallandale and the Vice President of MGM Construction Group. She has been a transformative figure in Hallandale Beach's growth, leading the city’s first true mixed-use project, Oasis Hallandale, which has served as a catalyst for local urban redevelopment.

Under her guidance, MGM Construction Group has scaled rapidly, delivering over 1.7 million square feet and earning recognition as GC of the Year from the Latin Builders Association. Fermin’s ability to bridge the gap between development vision and construction execution has allowed her projects to move efficiently from concept to completion.

Fermin’s leadership was particularly evident during the height of the pandemic, when she successfully broke ground and secured reservations for over 150 residential units while fully leasing commercial space.
