Cassie Paben is the EVP of public-private partnerships for Goldenrod Cos. and the founder of her consulting firm, Mere Site. With over two decades of experience across the public and private sectors, Paben has led initiatives that have driven more than $2 billion in capital investment.

She is recognized for her ability to structure innovative partnerships that balance risk and create lasting community value. Recently, she led negotiations for a landmark $200 million public-private partnership with Iowa State University for the CyTown mixed-use project.

In addition to her work on CyTown, Paben achieved 75% pre-leasing for a $50 million medical office development in Omaha before construction even commenced. Her leadership extends to Michigan State University’s Gateway District, where she established the master plan for a major mixed-use redevelopment featuring a sports arena and hotel.

Paben is also the 2026 President of CREW Omaha and has served as a mentor for over five years. Her ability to provide steady, solutions-oriented leadership in uncertain market conditions has made her a trusted advisor for municipalities and private investors alike.

Paben has since taken on a new role at Mere Site.
