Melissa Farrell directs one of the world’s most diversified non-bank lending platforms as the Head of U.S. Debt Originations for PGIM Real Estate.

With 34 years of industry experience, Farrell steered the firm through significant market disruption, originating $15 billion in U.S. transactions in 2025. Her oversight covers core, core-plus, and structured lending across all major property types, including notable transactions such as a $260 million acquisition loan for a retail portfolio and a $132 million loan for a Class A multifamily asset in Boston.

Under her guidance, PGIM has provided critical liquidity to the real estate ecosystem, particularly in resilient housing sectors. Farrell serves as Co-Chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Commercial Council and Chair of the Insurance Company Lenders Sub-Forum within CREFC.
