Kelly Souza is a premier innovator in sustainable finance. With over 20 years of experience, including a distinguished tenure as Managing Director at Wells Fargo, Souza has been a leading champion for integrating C-PACE into institutional credit platforms.

During 2024, her team closed more than 75 sustainable finance transactions, positioning her former firm as a leader in the sector. She recently oversaw West Coast originations and firmwide strategy, focusing on educating senior lenders on how C-PACE can serve as a lower-cost tranche to reduce at-risk equity in the industry.

Souza’s ability to reposition sustainable capital as a scalable private credit tool has unlocked capital-constrained deals nationwide. A member of the Urban Land Institute’s Bronze Multifamily Product Council and a longtime board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters, Souza combines market-moving innovation with deep civic service.
