Gretchen Turpen serves as executive vice president at Centinel Public Partnerships, overseeing one of the largest privatized military housing portfolios in the U.S. with over 32,000 Army homes. In the past year, Turpen successfully managed the complex transition of these assets from Lendlease to Centinel while ensuring operational stability and resident trust. She is currently leading a $780 million capital investment program that includes renovating 11,000 homes and constructing 1,200 new ones. Turpen also directed the development of the Army’s first new privatized housing project in 13 years, a $110 million community in Doral, Florida. Her leadership has resulted in over 92% of Centinel’s communities earning resident satisfaction awards in 2024. Additionally, she serves as president of the Centinel Community Fund, which has raised more than $3.5 million for military families.
