As head of capital markets at KBS, Sondra Wenger has executed more than $17 billion in investments throughout her career across 50 U.S. markets. Wenger plays a vital role in the firm's senior leadership, having supported capital raises totaling approximately $3 billion and participating in eight fund formations. Over the past 12 months, she led the design of a hub-oriented direct real estate strategy, utilizing a proprietary 10-point evaluation framework to position KBS for long-term resilience. This strategy is designed to deploy flexible capital across various product types to capture the "hub dividend" in improving markets. Wenger is also deeply committed to civic service, serving on the board of the New York Restoration Project and CA South, a woman-owned development firm. For over a decade, she has been an active member of the Urban Land Institute, where she currently serves as a membership chair.
