Katelyn O’Brien, a Partner at Proskauer Rose LLP, distinguished herself early in her career by pivoting to bankruptcy work during the 2008 recession before successfully transitioning into real estate law. She eventually became the youngest partner in her practice group and now serves as the Operational Partner for the Real Estate department, focusing on firm-wide growth and development. O’Brien is a trusted advisor to major clients like Alexandria Real Estate Equities, for whom she has recapitalized prominent office and lab buildings in Boston and Cambridge. Her practice also extends into senior housing and luxury hospitality, including Four Seasons projects. A champion for inclusion, she co-chairs the Boston office’s hiring committee and sits on the steering committee of the Proskauer Women’s Alliance. O’Brien also serves as Board Secretary for The Home for Little Wanderers, an organization advocating for vulnerable children.
