Margot M. Hammond

Holland & Knight LLP

cpf Logo
Margot Hammond, a partner at Holland & Knight LLP, is a nationally recognized expert in credit-tenant loans (CTLs) and essential-services real estate finance. In the past year, Hammond designed two new transaction templates that enabled private capital to support long-term financing for mission-oriented supportive-housing projects. These pioneering models incorporate performance-based features and occupancy-linked components to make emerging assets financeable. She also manages large trustee-side portfolios and has structured financings for newly expanded industrial and healthcare facilities, including matters involving unconventional occupancy profiles. Hammond is a Fellow of the American College of Investment Counsel and serves on her firm's policy-making Directors Committee. Her influence extends to authorship, where she analyzes federal real estate issues and leasing trends for industry publications. Outside of work, she donates to organizations like No Kid Hungry and participates in the 9/11 Day of Service, assembling STEM activity kits for the Science Club for Girls. Hammond does not simply close transactions; she builds the market frameworks that others follow.
