LoriAnne Jones, a Senior Project Manager at DIGroup Architecture, stands as a distinguished leader in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. One of approximately 550 licensed African-American female architects in the U.S., Jones leverages her visibility to expand access for underrepresented groups. For over 16 years, she has been a driving force in the ACE Mentor Program of New Jersey, guiding hundreds of high school students toward careers in AEC. Her impact was nationally recognized in 2024 when she was named one of only five recipients of the ACE Outstanding Mentor Award. In her professional role, Jones manages complex healthcare and education projects, including large-scale redevelopments for Urban Health Plan in New York City. Her expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and evidence-based design ensures that her projects measurably improve health outcomes in underserved communities. Beyond project management, Jones has served two terms as President of AIA Central New Jersey and continues to advise the state chapter on diversity initiatives. Whether mentoring junior staff or students, Jones is recognized for her consistency and her ability to ensure those she mentors successfully walk through the doors she opens.
