Redwood City-based BuildPoint isn't saying how much it receivedor exactly how much of the company it traded. It is saying thatGeorgia-based RMC is now a minority equity partner.

BuildPoint says it will use the funds to continue synchronizingits e-commerce platform with "every significant enterprise systemand business process" used by construction industry suppliers andpurchasers.

BuildPoint also has received an investment fromConstruction.com, a Net market for construction professionals, andpartnered with the online real estate marketplace LoopNet to formthe BuildPoint Financial Marketplace.
