Boston Properties Fills Two Key Positions

SAN FRANCISCO-Locally-based Boston Properties has added to its management staff with a new senior vice president of construction and a new construction manager. Peter Back, formerly director of construction management for SwigBurris Equities, is the new senior vice president. Bradford Tardy, most recently senior project manager for Charles Pankow Builders Ltd., is the company’s new construction manager.

Back will provide leadership and direction for daily staff activities including project management, contractor evaluations, departmental procedures, budgeting, scheduling and quality control. He also will be responsible for the management of all construction activity throughout the Embarcadero Center. As the new construction manager, Tardy will be responsible for all retail, tenant and capital improvement construction at the center and other properties in the Bay Area.
