Magis has said iy is expanding due to an increase in staff andthe need for additional meeting and lab space. Details about thetransaction weren't immediately available.

``Magis has experienced phenomenal growth over the past severalmonths,'' says Clarence Bruckner, CEO and founder. ``We quicklyoutgrew our original space and were fortunate to swiftly findsuitable space to ensure continued smooth operations andcomfortable space.''

The company last year leased a single floor of the building at12651 High Bluff Drive. Now, it's taking over an entire three-storybuilding. The first phase of tenant improvements is expected to becompleted in the first week of September. All improvements will becompleted by November 2001 enabling the company to fully expandinto the much-needed space.
