Vineyard Community Church had leased one of the facilities, a 21,500-sf building at 27631 El Lazo Rd., for nearly 10 years. The church chose to purchase the building and an an adjacent 50,000-sf structure at 27671 La Paz Rd. so it has room to expand.

Louis Tomaselli, Mitch Zehner and Rob Socci, all with Voit Commercial Brokerage's Anaheim Metro office, represented the seller, Voit Development Co. of Woodland Hills. Gary Stache of CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Newport Beach office negotiated for the Laguna Niguel church.

Tomaselli tells GlobeSt.com that the church will use the buildings for worship services as well as office space for administrative operations. Both buildings are single-story, concrete tilt-up structures that were built in 1980. The building purchases follow substantial growth at the church, which was founded in 1997 and initially held services in a school auditorium before moving to its now-permanent facilities.
