In the Costa Mesa transaction, East Village LLC acquired a 26,000-sf building at 1954 Placentia Ave. from the Weaver Family Trust for $3.6 million. Chris Deason of the Irvine office of Voit Commercial Brokerage, who represented East Village, says the buyer recently sold a property in Santa Ana and purchased the building on Placentia Avenue in a 1031-exchange. Kurt Stalder of the Newport Beach office of Lee & Associates represented the seller.

In the Santa Ana transaction, the Hashemian Revocable Trust acquired a 9,635-sf office building in the Brookhollow Office Park at 1502 Brookhollow Drive for $1.5 million.The buyer occupies 50% of the building and plans to lease the remaining space to an existing tenant to minimize the owner's occupancy costs, according to Rob Socci of Voit's Anaheim Metro office. Socci, Louis Tomaselli, Mitch Zehner and Mike Boomer of Voit's Anaheim Metro office represented the seller, Brookhollow Office Park Associates. Blash Momeny of Re/Max represented the buyer.
