Such alignments are part of Sperry's national expansion program that has grown from nine markets to more than 100 within the past four years. Kathrine Ripper, Sperry's Houston, TX-based regional manager, oversees this team of regional senior advisors, and Greg Janian, director of organizational development, is responsible for the company's growth in Missouri.

Ripper tells GlobeSt.com, "We reach into all small markets by aligning with active teams in their respective areas. Missouri is one of the markets we hadn't yet entered."

Tom Rankin founded the Rankin Co. in 1990. He specializes in industrial, land and retail sales. Tim Roth and Jeff Childs, also of the Rankin Co., each have 13 years of experience in commercial real estate. Pier 1 Imports, Kmart, Subway and Dollar General are among companies Roth has represented. Childs' clients have included T-Mobile USA and American Red Cross.

"There is no national brokerage in Springfield," Rankin tells GlobeSt.com. "The alignment with Sperry Van Ness gives us a lot of horsepower. We can use our local market knowledge and expose properties here nationwide."

Zvibleman has 17 years of industry experience. He specializes in office, industrial and investment sales. Since launching his business in 1999, he has closed $150 million in sales.
