The green building buzz has spread to the printed page, or inthis case, the new headquarters for Press Enterprise, which hasserved Riverside and San Bernardino counties as a general interestnewspaper since 1878.Designed by LPA, the 164,000-sf, five-story,mid-rise office building is located at 3512 14th St. in Riversideand designed to LEED-certified standards. It opened inSeptember.
"The 100-foot tower will provide a striking iconic element tothe building, becoming a landmark of the Downtown Riverside area,"says Rick D'Amato, design principal with LPA. "The architecturecelebrates the uniqueness of both the heritage of the PressEnterprise and Downtown Riverside, while also providing anenvironmentally responsible solution.
