[IMGCAP(2)]The building where Hogan & Hartson will berelocating to will house the global headquarters of Legg Mason Inc.Hogan & Hartston is the first outside firm to prelease space inthe building, Rick Rome, a broker with Studley, tells GlobeSt.com.Matthew Haas and Kevin Haus of Manekin, LLC teamed with Studley'sRick Rome and Nicole Miller on the Hogan and Hartsontransaction.

Hogan & Hartson will be occupying one-and-a-half floors inthe new building after they move in early 2010, Rome adds. "Theyare currently in an office building where they have been for 20years. They outgrew the space and had a keen interest in relocatingto Harbor East."

The new building will be the first of this quality developed inBaltimore for many years, he continues. "There hasn't been a stronginventory of trophy space that could attract law firms here forsome time," he says. "Most firms have stayed where they are."
