Board members recently selected the next chairman to be at thehelm of the organization for the next three years, beginning nextJune: Daniel M. Neidich, who spent 25 years at Goldman Sachs beforebecoming chairman and co-CEO of Dune Capital Management LP in 2003.FY2009 will be the last fiscal year that Chairman Christopher J.Nassetta--who is president and CEO of Hilton Hotels Corp.--willlead the 21-member board.

"I welcome the opportunity to take on a more prominent role inshaping the Roundtable's development," Neidich says, in a preparedstatement. He was not available for an interview.

Besides navigating policy challenges, he adds, the Roundtablewill also be celebrating its 10th year anniversary soon. "Despitethe endless array of interests competing for lawmakers' attention,the Roundtable has earned a reputation for doing its homework andpresenting solid analysis and commentary to policymakers, in theprocess establishing itself as an effective and respected advocatefor real estate at the federal policy level."
