The developer, Conway Surgical Hospital LLC, consists of apartnership between local physicians and Cirrus Health of Dallas. Aspokeswoman with Cirrus Health declined to discuss the cost of theproject, which will sit on 15 acres at the corner of ExchangeAvenue and United Drive. Area sources believe that the hospitalwill cost $17 million to $25 million to build.

The acreage has enough room for a medical office building, butthe spokeswoman tells GlobeSt.com that the office component isstill in the planning stages. The hospital will have eightoperating suites, 25 medical and surgical beds and 24 cardiacbeds.

The spokeswoman says Cirrus Health is planning to hold thehospital for the long term. "Currently, Conway and Faulknercounties have a significant out-migration of patients to LittleRock for heath care they should receive in this community," thespokeswoman says. "Additional and higher quality health careservices locally would curb the out-migration while better servingthe residents of Conway and Faulkner counties." Corgan AssociatesInc. of Dallas designed the hospital.
