Oldcastle Glass Engineered Products leases the space at 812-816 Kiernan Ave. in Modesto for the manufacture of curtain walls, storefronts, windows, architectural glass and skylights. It is one of several manufacturing facilities operated by the company in the United States.
"With the current economic climate, 2009 is an opportunistic time for tenants to capture value in their real estate," says JLL Northern California industrial broker Jason Ovadia. "By extending the term of lease commitments, tenants realize an immediate savings while allowing landlords the benefit of longer term tenancy."
Ovadia and Kevin Ahaesy represented Oldcastle in the transaction. Brandon Farrell of Hall Equities Group represented Libitzky Holdings. Transaction details were not immediately available.
